Penny is a partner at our Highbrook office. Welsh born and bred, Penny studied at both the University of Liverpool and the University of Wales and practised law in a large commercial firm in Manchester, England, before moving to NZ in 1996.
Penny has wide experience in business and commercial property matters, in particular business sales and purchases, commercial property acquisitions, corporate structures, asset protection and leasing. She also advises a number of property development clients in relation to sales, purchases and subdivisions.
With two busy children, Penny can’t remember what free time is but says she used to enjoy tramping and the outdoors. Penny served as a member of the Board of Trustees for her local primary school for 6 years and was Chairperson for 3 years. She is currently a part-time instructor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies teaching “PROFs” to new lawyers. When Penny has time, she tries to indulge her other interests of running, good food and wine.Specialties: Commercial Law, Estates, Property Law, Trusts and Asset Management, Wills
