Wynyard Wood is delighted to announce the promotion of Wincy Cheung to Director. The promotion took effect on 27 November 2023.
Wincy has been in legal practice for more than 18 years, starting her career in the UK as a corporate commercial lawyer and specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and company restructures. Moving to New Zealand in 2014, Wincy has both been a Senior Associate at Bell Gully and a Senior Legal Counsel at Kinga Ora, where she expanded her areas of practice and expertise to construction, infrastructure and project development, before joining Wynyard Wood in 2021.
Wincy’s promotion from Senior Associate to Director is exciting for the firm, particularly following the recent incorporation of the legal practice of Muller Law.
Wincy’s focus will be to continue to act as a trusted legal advisor to the firm’s diverse range of commercial clients and individuals, particularly those that are based in East Auckland and South Auckland.
