Chris Hart

Chris qualified in 1966 and was a partner of Burns Hart & Co (and its previous incarnations) for 30 years. In 2004 he merged his practice with Wynyard Wood, becoming a consultant. Chris specialises in property law, trusts, asset management, and commercial and domestic conveyancing, practising in both Auckland and Warkworth.
He has served on the Auckland District Law Society Council and the NZLS Board and was a trustee of the New Zealand Law Foundation. Married with three grownup daughters, his fondness for rhyming may have prompted him to become a llama farmer at weekends on his Whangateau farmlet. Chris’ eclectic range of interests include fine arts, music, education, writing, beekeeping, Italian architecture and landscape/garden design.
